Although the City name has been used in the past for a subcompact hatchback, the current Honda City sedan can trace its lineage back to the late 90s. Originally developed as a smaller, simpler, and more affordable alternative to the Honda Civic sedan, the City has come a long way since then.
The latest version of the Honda City boasts a more elegant and refined design, with a longer, wider, and lower silhouette than its predecessor. Its wing-face grille and slim headlights are reminiscent of the current Civic, and range-topping models feature full LED headlight units. At the rear, the City gets wide horizontal taillights, while the interior features a cleaner, more symmetrical layout with a neatly integrated infotainment touchscreen flanked by vertical AC vents. All variants except for the base S M/T come with a larger eight-inch touchscreen.
